equinox i hits it right in the centre, with vibes perfect for either sunset or sunrise. the hypnotic sequence will cut through your brain and makes sure you don’t even know if it’s night or day. equinox ii represents the night. again an incredible solid sequence, but with a raw edge assisted by a haunting soundscape doing justice to the dark. no one is safe for this killer. when day time arrives you will be introduced to equinox iii. this seems to be the most friendly track, but don’t let it fool you. a smart percussive rhythm does the magic and creates the hypnotic experience you can expect from p.e.a.r.l.

the duo gravity disturbance opens with the first reference of his newly founded label ritual waves, where they intend to worship the electronics from his serious, dark and hypnotic perspective. his first proposal “unsynchronized movement” has three tracks created in 2014 (the year in which this formation is born) and representing the mutation that has been his personal vision of techno, without renouncing its essence purely underground. gravity disturbance finds its place in the production and makes the leap to the scene, where they have much to contribute.

these songs were made over the past 2 and a half years by uchi: luna (january 2016), was named after a talking cat. it s kind of a sad story. you will find some synth sounds, three different kick drums, and a couple hi-hats. it s kind of moody. you can take it as it is, or not. pride is poison (july 2014) ironically, it s titled after experiencing dosages of unhealthy relationships, though it might be the one people like the most. it s sad-ish, noisy, bouncie, and bassie? that about sums it up. inc (february 2016) is titled after the international noise conference, where it was recorded. actually it s a 3 part spliced zoom room recording of a 25min long improvisation, made in a punk bar. the argument here holds, is it really worth it to make perfect music? where is the concept of -live- in techno anyways? it doesn t matter. it s just a semi-distorted recording of a moment that meant nothing to almost no one, and yet it lives.
